Date: 21/08/2025 Venue: Prestige Public School The first session of the MOM'S Club at Prestige Public School was successfully conducted on 21st August 2025. The session was led by Dr. Jubairiya (MBBS, MD), Assistant Professor at Medical College, The program was coordinated by the Mother PTA President, Mrs. Sithara, with the support of the school Coordinator Mrs. Remya To ensure participation, a Google form was circulated a week prior to the session, through which 120 mothers registered. However, on the day of the event, around 35 mothers attended the session in person. The session proved to be highly interactive and enriching. Parents actively engaged with the resource person, raised their concerns, and received clear and practical guidance. Dr. Jubairiya addressed the queries with patience and expertise, which was greatly appreciated by the attendees. Key Topics Covered 1. Fever and its consequences - Causes, symptoms to monitor, and when to seek medical help. 2. Burns and fractures - Immediate first-aid measures and precautions. 3. Vaccination - Importance, schedules, and clarifying myths. 4. Choking - Prevention strategies and first-aid techniques. 5. General health and emergency tips for children. Feedback from Parents The mothers found the session very useful and informative. Many shared that their doubts and fears were cleared. Several parents requested more frequent sessions of this kind, focusing on child health and safety.
